Michael and Allison Wedding-22

Each season I reserve a limited set of wedding dates to provide individualized attention to my clients. My style combines documentary natural light photography with a love of fashion and beauty portraiture. My clients are looking for real moments (not a staged wedding day) with beautiful bridal portraits including stunning details of your dress, flowers, your home, and family. Just as important as the photos, are your memories and how seamlessly your day unfolds. I would love to share my experience from photographing many weddings over the years to help you create your best day.

I love unique weddings-backless dresses, windswept hair, boho brides, intimate gatherings, laughing until it hurts, bouquets of wildflowers, kisses, and dancing all night long. Planning is such an important part of a wedding day, which is why I created a private facebook group for my current and past brides to share information. I post my personal recommendations and tips for things like vendors, current wedding styles, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your pricing?

To better serve you, all of my collections are customized for each individual. Please fill out my contact form with your availability and I'll give you a call to discuss details. Rates vary depending upon location, time of year, etc.

Do you work with a second photographer?

No, I photograph all of my weddings as the primary shooter. Sometimes people are surprised to learn that I do not have a "backup" or second shooter. I've found I do my best work uninterrupted, and dislike the feeling of paparazzi swarming a bride. I like to hang back and let the moments unfold naturally, remaining as unobtrusive as possible.

But there are so many other wedding photographers with a lead and photojournalist? How do you do it?

Honestly, I like being involved in the entire process-especially the photojournalistic shots! If you are concerned about missing images, the amount of images, or quality of images I will be more than happy to send you a selection of full length weddings to review.

How many photos will I receive?

All collections are complete coverage, meaning you will receive all of your best images as a curated collection. Typically, there will be from 600-1200 images depending upon the length of your wedding day.

Are the images high resolution?
Yes, all images on your flash will be in high resolution for printing. You will also receive a sharing gallery for guests to download images for web or print.

What equipment do you use? Will you bring lighting?

I shoot with top of the line Canon and Profoto equipment. Although I love to shoot natural light, I do use lighting during the reception if needed for dances, toasts, and formal portrait groups.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I love to visit and photograph new places! Give me a palm tree, mountains, big city, open fields, red dirt-you name it. I'm there.

Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, however there is a 2.9% processing fee.
